My name is Anita Philpott. Thank you for looking at my website. After leaving school I gained a City and Guilds in Beauty Therapy at The London College of Fashion and then studied electrolysis with Veronica Engelen and Rita Roberts. I took my examinations to become a member of the British Association of Electrolysis
(now BIAE). Seven years after becoming a member , I was made a Fellow of the British Association of Electrolysis.
I needed electrolysis as a teenager and am able to appreciate the anguish my clients feel when they have a facial hair problem. I decided to train as an electrolysist because I felt there was a need for an empathetic expert in South East Essex.
I have continually undertaken areas of study to enhance my understanding of the human mind and body, in an attempt to fully support my clients. I have Diplomas in Person Centre Art Therapy, Nutrition, Obesity and Diabetes Management, Iridology and I am a Member of the British Association of Skin Camouflage.
I undertake CPD training (Continuing Professional Development) every year. This is expected of members of British Institute & Association of Electrolysis to show a commitment to learning and excellence.
Anita is registered with Colchester Borough Council to undertake the practice of electrolysis.
